People Talk by Mike Williams 01/23/2016 @ 9:09 A.M.
They’ll talk about you if you’re pretty,
And talk about you if you’re not.
They’ll talk about you if you’re rich,
Or if you don’t have a lot.
And talk about you if you’re not.
They’ll talk about you if you’re rich,
Or if you don’t have a lot.
People always talk and they always will,
It’s not realy about you at all.
People put you high on a fragile pedestal,
Only later to watch you fall.
Just know that it is more about themselves,
People love to judge and balk.
Just be the very best of your own you,
And don’t worry if people talk.
85 words, 12 lines, and 3 stanzas.
